Mercury Grand Marquis in Kyiv got a 4.9-liter V8

The presented Mercury Grand Marquis LS belongs to the first generation, which was produced until 1991. The car is equipped with a naturally aspirated gasoline V8 with a displacement of 4.9 L, a power output of 152 hp, and a torque of 366 Nm.

The top speed of the Mercury Grand Marquis is 174 km/h, and acceleration to 100 km/h takes 11.8 seconds.

A special feature of the car is the Landau roof. This is the name for a decorative vinyl trim that imitates the folding top of classic executive cars.

The American Mercury Grand Marquis is built on the Ford Panther platform

The Mercury Grand Marquis uses the rear-wheel-drive Ford Panther platform. The Ford LTD Crown Victoria and Lincoln Town Car were also built on this architecture.

Interestingly, the 1986 Mercury Grand Marquis received an upgraded V8 engine with sequential multi-port fuel injection. It was paired with a four-speed automatic transmission.
