The British company LazerLamps, a manufacturer of additional automotive LED optics, has developed a new solution for SUVs and passenger cars – the LazerLamps Triple-R 1250 SmartView LED light bar.
The main feature of the new product is the ability to operate in 5 different modes, the most interesting of which is the automatic switching between high beam and low beam when an oncoming vehicle is detected. Agree, this function is quite in demand, and consumers have long been waiting for such optional solutions on non-premium cars that do not have similar functions in the standard configuration offered by automakers.
Modes can be controlled from the dashboard. The Lazer Triple-R 1250 SmartView kit includes an anti-theft unit that is programmed to prohibit the use of the lamp if it is removed from your vehicle.
The length of the lamp is 590 mm, while the luminous flux is 12170 lumens, which is enough for any travel conditions, and it can be installed on most passenger cars and crossovers.
Operating modes of LazerLamps Triple-R 1250 SmartView
E-Mark mode – allows the light bar to be used in accordance with the requirements of the road legislation of Ukraine and EU countries.
E-Boost mode – increases light intensity for maximum visibility. However, this mode is only allowed to be used off-road.
Speed adaptation mode – the beam pattern is adjusted depending on the vehicle speed in the range of 30/50 km/h to 40/80 km/h. Requires the CanM8 Duo interface.
Low beam mode – provides an excellent level of low beam illumination, ideal for more extreme weather conditions such as fog and snow. Can operate independently of the standard high beam headlights.
Dynamic Dip mode – provides a smoother transition between high and low beam (after a quick switch to low beam), allowing the driver's eyes to adapt to a lower level of illumination.
Mode control
Control of the various modes is carried out using a compact controller. The transparent acrylic touch panel is activated when the vehicle's ignition is turned on, and the various functions are clearly marked with illuminated icons. The lighting functions, integrated into the vehicle's electrical system, are activated both by the standard high beam signal and/or via the touch panel.
Theft protection
The Triple-R 1250 Smartview comes with an anti-theft unit, which is carried out thanks to firmware shared between the lamp and the ATU, that is, if the lamp is removed from the vehicle without the ATU, the lamp simply will not work. The ATU is also the center of the Smartview system, which connects the lamp, the dashboard controller, and the CanM8 Duo interface, necessary for the Speed Adapt function to work. Plug & Play connectivity simplifies installation, ensuring perfect operation of the Triple-R 1250 Smartview with the vehicle's standard high beam function and speed sensors.
