According to the British press, Skoda has started developing a compact crossover based on the Volkswagen T-Roc model.
The new model will occupy an intermediate position in size between the Rapid Spaceback hatchback and the recently unveiled Karoq crossover (pictured), which replaced the Yeti model.
It is expected that the T-Roc will use not only the same MQB A0 platform as the Skoda subcompact crossover, but also a similar range of powertrains.
The still unnamed production model is expected in 2019.
