Now AvtoVAZ has to adjust holiday prices monthly. They were already revised in March, but it is impossible to keep the prices of new cars unchanged for more than a month under current conditions.
Prices for cars produced jointly with Renault/Nissan are rising the most. The Lada 4x4, whose components are fully manufactured in Russia, depends least on ruble fluctuations.
As for the Granta and Priora model families, which received a manual gearbox with cable drive, their prices have also increased. But their rise in price can still be justified by modernization. The new gearbox differs from its predecessor by significantly shorter lever travel and the use of semi-synthetic oil instead of mineral oil.
In addition, the Kalina family has also been modernized. This model received improved sound insulation and a new price tag with an increase of 400 – 800 rubles, depending on the trim level.
