Production of the Lexus LF-NX starts in October 2014. The production version will retain the signature optics and expressive stampings on the body sides. Unlike the concept, the production model will have a longer wheelbase.
Initially, petrol and hybrid versions will hit the market. One of them is equipped with a new two-liter turbocharged engine producing 240 horsepower. This modification will be front-wheel drive.
The hybrid version will use a 2.5-liter petrol engine with torque transmitted to the front wheels, while the rear axle will be driven by an electric motor during acceleration and braking. The hybrid's fuel consumption will be only 4.1 liters per 100 kilometers.
According to preliminary data, the base version of the Lexus NF in Europe will be sold at a price starting from 30,000 euros.
