The noise insulation package includes additional plugs and sound-absorbing materials placed in the areas of the fenders, pillars, and on the floor of the body.
In addition, an upgraded suspension with improved components and adjusted handling characteristics should ensure a higher level of comfort in the Lada Kalina.
The shock absorbers in the new model are gas-filled, the springs and anti-roll bars have increased stiffness, with the diameter of the latter growing from 22 to 24 mm. The stiffness of the trailing arms has also been increased.
The modernization of the Lada Kalina has led to a slight increase in the final cost of the car, although this increase turned out to be much more modest than the effect of Ukrainian special duties and recycling fees.
