This is what the off-road modification of the VW Beetle Dune looked like in 2000
Volkswagen already showed a similar version in 2000, but the current version looks much more respectable. The widened arches harmoniously combine with the design, and the lowered roof adds more expression and dynamism to the Beetle Dune.
The interior looks quite modest, but that's expected for a show car. Under the hood is a turbocharged 2-liter engine producing 210 horsepower. It is paired with a six-speed DSG robotic gearbox.
