Hyundai has unveiled the European 2027 Hyundai Tucson of the new generation. The crossover received a completely redesigned design, a larger body, a new interior, and a lineup of gasoline, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid powertrains.

The European 2027 Hyundai Tucson has grown by 35 mm in length and width and by 20 mm in height. The total length is 4560 mm. The rear door opening angle was increased from 73 to 83 degrees, and the trunk volume reaches 695 l or 1910 l with the seats folded.
The H-Edge front lighting in top versions has up to 25,600 LED pixels, and Prism taillights have appeared at the rear. Inside, a 12.9- or 17-inch central display with the Pleos Connect system and a separate 9.9-inch instrument panel are installed.
Among the equipment are four 100-watt USB-C ports, a 15 W wireless charger, a digital key, a Bang & Olufsen audio system with 12 speakers, and a heated windshield. According to Hyundai, the latter needs 15 minutes for complete defrosting.
The 2027 Hyundai Tucson engines include a gasoline and two hybrid versions
The base 2027 Hyundai Tucson received a 1.6-liter T-GDI with 148 hp with a 6-speed manual. The version with a 7-speed DCT is additionally equipped with a 48-volt mild hybrid system.
The full hybrid develops 242 hp and 380 Nm and is equipped with a 6-speed automatic. All-wheel drive is available for it, and the maximum trailer weight is 1910 kg.
The Hyundai Tucson plug-in hybrid combines a 1.6 T-GDI, a 17.1 kWh battery, and a more powerful electric motor. The total output is 288 hp, and the claimed electric-only range is up to 80 km.
