For the Ukrainian market, where the Renault Duster has been a sales leader for many years, the updated version could be a real breakthrough — provided it officially reaches us.

The new Duster, sold under the Dacia brand, has already appeared in Europe with a starting price of 26,554 euros. The car received a 1.2-liter turbocharged engine that works in tandem with two electric motors, with a total output of 150 horsepower. In the combined cycle, average fuel consumption is 5.5 liters per 100 km. However, the main advantage is the factory-installed LPG equipment, which ensures consumption of 7.1 liters per 100 km. Thanks to two 50-liter tanks — for petrol and gas — the range can reach 1500 km. There is also a small battery with a capacity of 0.84 kWh, which allows silent movement on electric power over short distances — in the yard, in traffic jams, or when approaching home in the evening.

Another significant piece of news is the first all-wheel-drive Duster equipped with a 6-speed EDC robotic gearbox with dual clutches. Previously, all versions with all-wheel drive were offered exclusively with a manual transmission. In addition, the new Duster can tow a trailer weighing up to 1.5 tons — an additional bonus for those who use the car both for work and for trips to the countryside, as well as for active recreation.

The same hybrid powertrain was also received by the larger Dacia Bigster 2026 — its price starts from 28,874 euros.

Given Ukrainians' affinity for tall crossovers, affordable maintenance, fuel economy, and love for cars with LPG equipment, this Duster looks almost like an answer to our needs. The only main question remains: when will this version appear at Ukrainian Renault dealers?
