The tenth step of the ranking is occupied by the Subaru Forester with a result of 95,972 cars sold, which is 3.4% higher than the previous year's figures. This compact SUV with an all-wheel drive system received an updated exterior and a hybrid modification, cementing its status as one of the best options for moderate off-road driving.
Jeep Grand Cherokee took ninth place, demonstrating 99,668 units sold, although this is 7% less compared to 2024. The model is offered with several powertrain options and in two- or three-row seating configurations, and its updated version is expected to appear in 2026.
Eighth on the list is Ford Explorer (104,929 cars), which underwent a facelift and received new interior solutions. The base 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine produces 300 horsepower, while the flagship ST version is equipped with a six-cylinder engine with 400 horsepower.
Nissan Rogue (109,563 units) is available in Dark Armor and Rock Creek trims, but its sales decreased by 22% due to significant competition in the segment.
Hyundai Tucson (113,310 cars) showed a 23% increase, aided by an updated design, the introduction of Baby mode for smoother driving, and hybrid powertrains.
Chevrolet Trax (119,593) and Equinox (129,889) demonstrate the brand's strong position among subcompact and compact crossovers. The Trax serves as an affordable entry-level model, while the Equinox is offered in three trims — Activ, RS, and LT.
In the electric vehicle segment, Tesla Model Y holds third place with approximately 150,171 units sold, which is 24% lower than last year's result.
Second place is occupied by Honda CR-V (212,561), which remains the brand's most successful model thanks to its reliability, hybrid versions, and the new TrailSport trim.
The absolute leader for the period was Toyota RAV4 with sales of 239,451 vehicles. This makes it not only the most sought-after crossover but also the third most popular model on the American market overall. The next generation, which will be fully hybrid in 2026, has every prerequisite to maintain this dominant momentum.
