The premiere of the 2026 Toyota RAV4 is scheduled for this year, with first customer deliveries starting in the fall. The Japanese publication BestCarWeb has created renders of the future crossover based on photos taken at a closed event for dealers in China.
Based on the published images, it is clear that the new model will retain the familiar profile characteristic of previous generations. At the same time, designers have added several fresh accents. The front end is executed in updated corporate styling: narrow LED headlights make the look sharper, and the radiator grille without a traditional frame adds modernity. Extended wheel arches emphasize the car's off-road character.

The interior remains under wraps for now, but analysts predict that larger screens will be the key update. The appearance of a modern digital instrument panel and an improved multimedia system with a larger set of functions is expected, which should simplify interaction with the car.
According to information from Japanese insiders, all 2026 RAV4 modifications will be equipped with a 2.5-liter engine under the hood. The lineup will consist of three variants: pure gasoline, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid, with buyers able to choose between front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.

The most significant changes will affect hybrid versions. Electrified variants will become more powerful, and the plug-in hybrid will receive a larger-capacity battery, allowing it to travel up to 130 kilometers on electric power.
