Nothing more is reported about the Skoda Erloq. But there are some guesses. So, the letter «q» at the end indicates that it will be a crossover (all SUV names of the brand end with this letter – Kodiaq, Karoq, Kamiq, Enyaq, Kushaq). And the letter «E» at the beginning may indicate that we are talking about an electric vehicle.
Consequently, we can expect that Skoda is preparing another electric crossover. Perhaps it will become the younger brother of the aforementioned Enyaq (or, conversely, the older one). In any case, it will be built on the Volkswagen platform created specifically for electric vehicles - MEB.
The media suggest that the Skoda Erloq will go on sale in 2024.
By the way, this car is not the only completely new model that the brand from Mlada Boleslav is preparing. The company is also working on a global C-Class sedan, which is expected to be named Slavia.
