Skoda Slavia is a global car, but it will be primarily aimed at the Indian market. It will be built on the MQB-A0-IN platform – a local "variant" of the global VAG architecture – MQB.
In terms of dimensions, the Skoda Slavia will be close to the Rapid: the sedan's length will be about 4480 mm (the current Rapid is 4413 mm), and it will get the largest wheelbase in the segment – 2651 mm.

So far, the brand has only released a sketch of the model: it shows what the front end of the future sedan will look like. The Slavia will feature a wide angular radiator grille, thin LED headlights, and a muscular hood. The bumper is styled in a sporty manner – it has a large air intake, plus cutouts for fog lights.
In terms of technology, the Skoda Slavia will get two TSI turbo engines, namely a three-cylinder 1.0-liter engine with 115 hp (gearbox – 6-speed manual, with an optional 6-speed automatic) and a 1.5-liter four-cylinder with 150 hp and 250 Nm (transmission – DSG robot with dual clutch). Drive – only front.

The new sedan should debut before the end of the year, and it will go on sale in early 2022.
PS: the note also includes live photos of the Slavia test prototype – it was previously captured on public roads.
