The Turkish brand TOGG presented its electric cars in 2019. The presentation took place with the participation of the head of state Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Production will be set up at a new plant located near Istanbul.

The first model in the TOGG lineup will be a crossover. Its exterior was worked on by specialists from the Italian studio Pininfarina. The interior stands out with a large number of screens — there are six of them, and a couple of them function as cameras instead of traditional side mirrors.

The new product can be ordered in two versions: with rear-wheel drive and 200 hp output, as well as with all-wheel drive and 400 hp power. The first version reaches the first hundred in 7.6 seconds, the second — in 4.8 seconds. The range is 300 and 500 kilometers, respectively. From a fast charger, the battery can be filled up to 80% in about half an hour.

Following the crossover, the manufacturer plans to release a sedan — its prototype was also demonstrated in 2019. By 2030, the lineup should expand to five models. Company representatives state that the price of Turkish electric vehicles will be significantly lower than that of competitors like Tesla or Volkswagen ID.
