Let us remind you that the Honda Civic 2022 sedan has already debuted, and the hatchback will share its design. The model's appearance will become more solid and restrained, with the front end styled in the spirit of the younger Honda Jazz. In addition, the five-door Civic will become slightly larger, with its wheelbase growing to 2735 mm.

The interior of the Honda Civic 2022 will obviously be the same in the sedan and hatchback. This means the car will get a virtual instrument cluster and a large 9.0-inch touchscreen. The base trim of the Honda Civic will be supplemented with adaptive cruise control, automatic braking, lane keeping assist, and traffic sign recognition systems.

Buyers will have a choice of a 2.0-liter 158-horsepower naturally aspirated gasoline four-cylinder engine and a 1.5-liter 182-horsepower turbocharged engine. Both versions will be equipped with a continuously variable transmission. Later, the lineup will be expanded with the Honda Civic hybrid and the hot Type R.
