The base electric car BMW i4 is equipped with a single 340-horsepower motor and rear-wheel drive. It accelerates to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 190 km/h. The lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 84 kWh provides a range of 483 km (EPA cycle).

The top-of-the-line all-wheel-drive BMW i4 M50 is equipped with two electric motors with a total power of 476 hp, but briefly during acceleration 544 hp is available. The BMW electric car accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, and its top speed is 225 km/h. The range is slightly less – 395 km. Charging to 80% from a fast station takes 31 minutes.

The BMW i4 M50 features an active suspension, and it can be distinguished from the standard model by a more aggressive front-end design, body kit, spoiler on the trunk lid, and 19-inch wheels.
