While the SUV in the anniversary edition has only gone on sale in Japan so far, it will soon be offered in other countries as well. In its homeland, it costs from 4.3 to 5.54 million yen ($39,200 – 50,500) and is offered with a 2.7-liter gasoline four-cylinder engine producing 163 hp and a 2.8-liter 204-horsepower turbodiesel. All cars are all-wheel drive and come with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado in the 70th Anniversary Limited version can be distinguished by a modified front bumper, special 18-inch wheels, and black trim on the body.

The interior is upholstered in special brown leather, with matte aluminum inserts and new floor mats with 70th Anniversary inscriptions. In addition, the same badges have appeared on the SUV's body. The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado's equipment has also been expanded to include power adjustment and ventilation for the front seats.
