The new IKEA Höga was created in collaboration with Renault, reports Autogeek. The electric car turned out to be very original indeed.

Höga is a two-seat city car with a length of just 2.3 m and a height of 1.8 m. Instead of doors, the front and rear windows rise up (with the front one rising together with the steering wheel attached to it).
If needed, the front passenger seat in the IKEA Höga can be removed. This frees up space for a bicycle or a wheelchair.
But the most interesting thing is that the IKEA Höga is planned to be sold as a kit car – in the form of a set of parts from which you need to assemble the car yourself. This is precisely what accounts for its very low price.
Of course, not everyone will be able to assemble the electric car themselves. But IKEA will surely offer an assembly service for an additional fee – just as they do with their furniture.
