The new Hyundai AX1 will become the most compact crossover in the Korean brand's lineup. Its length will be only 3.7-3.8 m, which is significantly smaller than the Hyundai Bayon and Venue crossovers. The car is built on the platform of the A-class hatchback Hyundai i10. Its main competitor will be the Suzuki Ignis.

The teasers show large round LED headlights and taillights with an original pattern. Spy photos of the Hyundai AX1 have also surfaced online, revealing a two-box crossover profile with small roof pillar angles.

Most likely, the compact Hyundai crossover will get a 1.2-liter gasoline engine with 84 hp from the same i10. Drive will be exclusively front-wheel.
