Judging by everything, the paparazzi lenses captured cars from the trial batch of the Toyota Land Cruiser 2022. They were filmed at a warehouse and on a car carrier in Japan. Let us remind you that the official presentation of the model is scheduled for August.
As expected, the design of the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 is recognizable and without radical changes. The dimensions of the new SUV are also not a secret: it reaches 4970 mm in length, 1985 mm in width, and 1870 mm in height with a wheelbase of 2970 mm. Naturally, the frame and solid rear axle are preserved.
Photos of the interior of the SUV appeared earlier. In the base version, analog instruments are expected, and in more expensive ones – a virtual instrument panel. Also, the new Toyota Land Cruiser will receive a fingerprint scanner and a set of modern safety systems.
Initially, two petrol V6 engines will be offered – a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated one with about 280 hp and a 3.5-liter turbocharged one with 420 hp. Later, a 3.3-liter 309-horsepower turbodiesel and a hybrid setup with a 3.5-liter 299-horsepower petrol engine and an electric motor with 180 hp will be added.
Most likely, all versions will get a 10-speed automatic transmission. Naturally, all-wheel drive with a low-range gear will be preserved, and locking center differentials will be available for an additional cost.
