The Mercedes EQS is made in a four-door coupe body style. A characteristic feature of the new model is its teardrop shape, thanks to which it has become the most streamlined production car in the world – the drag coefficient of the EQS is only 0.20. And thanks to its length of 5.22 meters and a long wheelbase, it is also the most spacious sedan/four-door coupe in the world.

Two versions are announced for the Mercedes EQS – the rear-wheel drive EQS 450+ with 333 hp and 568 Nm, as well as the all-wheel drive EQS 580 4Matic, whose powertrain produces 523 hp and 855 Nm. The younger version accelerates to 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds, the older one in 4.3 seconds. The top speed is the same in both cases – 210 km/h. However, this is not the limit: later, the EQS should get the coolest, 762-horsepower modification.

Also, the Mercedes EQS has two batteries to choose from, the largest of which has a usable capacity of 107.8 kWh. Such a large battery allows the electric car to travel up to 770 km on the WLTP cycle – the EQS 450+ can boast such a range, while the EQS 580 4Matic is expected to travel a little less – due to higher energy consumption caused by a more powerful setup. The Mercedes EQS battery supports charging current up to 200 kW. Thus, in just 15 minutes of connection, the range can be replenished by 300 km of travel.

Finally, the Mercedes EQS is also the most technologically advanced car in the world. It has 350 sensors on board that control various parameters such as distance, speed, acceleration, lighting conditions, etc.

Deliveries of the Mercedes EQS are scheduled for November. Prices will appear later.
