There is no official data on the release of the new "Cruiser", but according to the latest data, its production will begin on July 1. At the same time, the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 should go on sale already in August.

The car has not yet been shown in all its glory, but some idea of its design already exists – thanks to previously published photos and patent images (in particular, a few months ago paparazzi captured an unpainted body of the car on the territory of the Toyota plant in Japan). Thus, the SUV will retain its characteristic "square" shape and will generally be similar to the LC 200, but it will not do without innovations: in particular, the 300th will have a side glazing line that rises slightly in the stern area, and the hood and fenders will get straight edges. The radiator grille will become larger, its lower element will "rest" against the headlights. At the same time, changes will also occur at the rear – for example, the taillights will become more compact.

Inside the Toyota Land Cruiser 300, a new front panel will be installed – it will have a minimum of buttons, and touchscreens will take over control of most functions. The multimedia screen will be implemented as a "floating" widescreen display with a diagonal of 10+ inches. A niche for wireless charging of gadgets will appear on the central tunnel, while the steering wheel will also be new – three-spoke, in the style of the Highlander crossover. The instrument panel will, of course, be digital.
Chassis and engines of Toyota Land Cruiser 300
It is already reliably known that, contrary to modern fashion, the new "Cruiser" will not adopt a unibody construction – it will still be based on a ladder frame. But significant changes will occur in the engine lineup – from now on, the SUV will not have a V8. First, a version with a 3.5-liter gasoline V6 will go into production, its expected output will be 420 hp and 589 Nm. Such an engine will be paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Then a diesel version will go to the assembly line – with a 3.3-liter V6 producing 309 horsepower. It will also be equipped with an automatic transmission. Finally, in 2022, a hybrid version will appear, its power will be about 480 hp.
According to unofficial data, all-wheel drive for the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 will be available for an additional cost.
Equipment of Toyota Land Cruiser 300
As standard, the new SUV will receive, in particular, LED optics with dynamic turn signals and a fingerprint identification system. In more expensive trim levels, impact sensors, power tailgate, sunroof, ventilation for all seats, and a 12-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system will be added to the general list. The interior will be both 5- and 7-seater. Wheel size – from 18 to 20 inches.

Interestingly, insiders also talk about the preparation of a "charged" version of the crossover. According to rumors, it will receive the Gazoo Racing prefix in its name, and will differ from the regular version in its exterior body kit, front and rear differential locks, electronically controlled kinetic suspension stabilization system, and sport wheels.
