The BMW X8 is interesting primarily because it will be the largest crossover in the brand's history. It will be longer and wider than the X7, although it will have a lower stance. And it will also be the most expensive BMW SUV. For comparison, the dimensions of the BMW X7 are 5151 x 2218 x 1805 mm.
On the car that is currently undergoing tests, you can see stickers indicating that this is a hybrid. It is assumed that the PHEV system will be installed in the most powerful version, the X8 M Competition: it will be based on a petrol V8; the estimated power of such a car will be 740 hp. But the "regular" BMW X8 M will get a 625-horsepower unit. The SUV will also have standard, less powerful modifications.
According to rumors, the debut of the BMW X8 will take place this year, and sales of the new product will begin in 2022.
