It is known that Lynk & Co is a premium brand within the Geely structure. Volvo engineers work on creating the cars, because this Swedish company is also part of Geely. According to plans, the brand should appear on the European market already this year.
The Lynk & Co 02 crossover is based on the CMA architecture, familiar from Volvo XC40. The Sport version is equipped with a two-liter Volvo turbo engine producing 254 horsepower, a seven-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches, and an all-wheel drive system. The top speed reaches 230 km/h.
The exterior of the Lynk & Co 02 is clearly inspired by the Porsche Macan and Cayenne. The sporty modification can be recognized by a different body kit and widened wheel arches. The version also features reduced ground clearance, 18-inch wheels, and four exhaust tips at the rear.
Inside, leather sports seats with electric adjustments and memory function are installed. The equipment list also includes a rear-view camera, keyless entry system, and automatic braking function. The price of the Lynk & Co 02 Sport is estimated at about 30 thousand dollars.
