The new Toyota X Prologue is an electric crossover the size of a RAV4, but its wheelbase will be longer than that of the gasoline model. The car is built on the modular e-TNGA platform. Subaru specialists are helping to create the electric car, and they will also have a related model, the Evoltis.
The images reveal the car's silhouette and the design of its front lighting. Earlier, patent images of the new Toyota X Prologue also surfaced online.
The Toyota electric vehicle is expected to be offered with rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, as well as with batteries of 50 and 100 kWh capacity. In the first case, the range will reach 300 km, in the second – 600 km.
Toyota representatives also stated that the e-TNGA platform will spawn an entire new family of electric cars. Three crossovers are planned, as well as a sedan and a minivan.
