A striking example is the new VW Saveiro "pickup truck", which the Germans built on the basis of the old Polo (although its design is from the new Polo) specifically for Brazil.

The VW Saveiro is a pickup truck 4.45 meters long, produced in several versions. The base version is the Robust with a single or double cab, followed by the Trendline with a single cab, and the lineup is topped by the Cross with a double cab. The Cross version is equipped with a 1.6-liter 16-valve engine producing 110/120 hp (gasoline/ethanol), while the first two versions come with a 1.6-liter 8-valve engine producing 101/104 hp. In all cases, the gearbox is the same - a 5-speed manual.

The Volkswagen Saveiro Robust costs only 9,100 euros, and its equipment includes power steering and a height-adjustable driver's seat; the vehicle's payload capacity is 715 kg, and the cargo space volume is 924 liters. For an additional 1,050 euros, the buyer can already count on the Trendline version, which features body-colored bumpers, air conditioning, power windows, remote central locking, a protective mesh for the rear window, an audio system with USB and Bluetooth. The double-cab version has a payload capacity of 687 kg and a compartment of 580 liters, with prices starting from 11,300 euros.
