The photos show the X-Trail for the Chinese market (though the model will be the same for other regions, including EU countries). Judging by them, the new X-Trail will differ minimally from the American Nissan Rogue: only the different bumper trims catch the eye.

At the same time, technical details about the Nissan X-Trail 2021 have also emerged, and here the differences are more serious. So, if the American Nissan Rogue is equipped with a 2.5-liter gasoline engine producing 181 hp at 245 Nm of torque, the X-Trail for China is a 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine with an output of 204 hp and 300 Nm. Specifications for Europe will be announced later.
Like the Nissan Rogue, the X-Trail will significantly distance itself from its predecessor. The new model is based on an improved CMF-C/D platform, has a modified suspension, a more modern interior, and richer equipment. In the interior, among other things, a steering wheel with a flattened bottom, a digital instrument cluster (in higher trim levels), a color head-up display, and a new infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto stand out.

Following the American version, the global crossover will also get the ProPilot semi-autonomous driving system, blind spot monitoring, lane keeping assist, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, etc.
The length of the Nissan X-Trail 2021 is 4681 mm, width – 1840 mm, height – 1730 mm, wheelbase – 2706 mm. That is, the new model is slightly larger than the current generation, but retains the same wheelbase.
The debut of the Nissan X-Trail 2021 is expected in the coming months.
