The project name (Trinity translates as "triunity") indicates the combination of three components – a completely new platform, an optimized component supply scheme, and a modern production process.
Volkswagen Project Trinity is the production version of the concept car. The electric car will get two motors and all-wheel drive, and its range will exceed 650 km. Battery charging will take just a few minutes – no longer than filling a full tank of gasoline.
It is also stated that the Volkswagen electric vehicle will receive a level four autopilot. That is, it will not only be able to move in fully autonomous mode, but will also constantly learn and exchange information with other cars.
