The new Mercedes-Benz C-Class W206 has become more elegant in appearance and now resembles the older E-Class and S-Class sedans more. From the latter, by the way, the MRA platform was borrowed. The car has become slightly larger and more spacious.

In the cabin, on the tilted central console, a portrait-format touchscreen familiar from the Mercedes S-Class is installed. Also, all C-Class models have a new virtual instrument cluster, and a head-up display is offered for an extra charge. Among other new options are matrix headlights and a semi-autonomous driving system.

An unexpected piece of news was the statement that the new Mercedes C-Class 2021 will be offered exclusively with four-cylinder engines supplemented by a 48-volt hybrid system. Even the top-of-the-line AMG variant will be equipped with a 2.0-liter turbo-four producing over 400 hp.

Representatives of Daimler explained that in this way they not only made the Mercedes sedan more economical but also reduced the length of the hood and increased the size of the cabin as a result.
