The new Kia K8 is built on the extended front-wheel-drive platform of the K5 sedan (the successor to the Optima) and reaches 5015 mm in length. The car has an expressive design with a huge radiator grille and an arched roof. The taillights are stretched across the entire width of the body.

Photos of the interior have not yet been published, but the Kia sedan will certainly get a virtual instrument panel and a washer-type gear selector. Top versions will use expensive Nappa leather in the trim. Among the options, you should also expect surround-view cameras, a parking autopilot, and a semi-autonomous driving system.

The specifications of the Kia K8 are planned to be declassified in the near future. Most likely, it will be equipped with a 2.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine and a 3.3-liter naturally aspirated V6. All K8s will get an 8-speed automatic transmission.
