The new Skoda Kushaq crossover will appear on the market with a starting price of about 13 thousand dollars. Assembly of this affordable model will be organized at Indian facilities, and the main sales market will be countries with developing economies. Initially, it was assumed that the car would get the name Kliq, but the company settled on the Kushaq option, which translates from Sanskrit as "king".

The budget Skoda crossover will be based on the MQB-A0 platform, and its length will be about 4 meters. The exterior of the model will be made in the style of the Vision IN concept: characteristic features will be a wide radiator grille and two-tier optics.
