The new Hennessey Venom F5 is equipped with a 6.6-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 1817 hp and 1617 Nm of torque. With a 7-speed robotic gearbox, acceleration to 100 km/h takes less than 3 seconds, and to 200 km/h – 5 seconds.
The top speed exceeds 500 km/h. The hypercar will try to break the world speed record for production cars. Recall that it currently stands at 508.7 km/h and was set by another American car – SSC Tuatara.
The Hennessey Venom F5 features active suspension with adjustable ride height and carbon-ceramic brakes. It is based on a carbon monocoque, so the coupe weighs only 1360 kg.
The interior is trimmed with leather and carbon. The steering wheel is styled like racing cars, and a large touchscreen is mounted on the center console.
