The new Toyota Prado will not abandon its frame and will become longer — up to 4850 mm. Judging by preliminary images, the exterior will not be radically revised, and the SUV will retain its recognizable features. Inside, a digital instrument cluster will appear, and the set of options will be supplemented with modern safety assistants.

It is known that under the hood of the new Land Cruiser Prado will remain a 2.8-liter turbodiesel with 204 horsepower. At the same time, gasoline engines, apparently, will be replaced by a hybrid unit based on a 2.4-liter engine and an electric motor.
Probably, an eight-speed automatic transmission will work in tandem with the engines. All-wheel drive with a low range and differential locks, of course, will also remain in the arsenal.
