The British publication AutoExpress has prepared renderings based on spy shots. Judging by these images, the new Kia Sportage promises to get a catchy and memorable exterior. The model will be based on a new architecture, which is also used in the Hyundai Tucson 2021.
The list of updates will include a digital instrument panel and improved multimedia with a 10.25-inch display. In addition, the car will get semi-autonomous driving assistants and a driver condition monitoring function.
It is expected that under the hood of the Kia Sportage 2021 there will be 1.6-liter gasoline turbo engines developing 150 and 180 horsepower, as well as a diesel unit of similar volume with a capacity of 136 horsepower. In addition, a 48-volt mild hybrid system will be offered.
Also in the range will be available full hybrid versions with output of 227 and 265 horsepower. The top version may be equipped with a 2.5-liter turbo engine with 290 horsepower. Buyers will be offered options with both front and all-wheel drive.
