In Europe, the "hot" Audi SQ7 and SQ8 crossovers were offered only with a diesel engine producing 422 horsepower. Now they are joined by a four-liter turbocharged TFSI V8 gasoline engine that develops 507 horsepower and 770 Nm of torque.

With this engine, the gasoline SQ7 and SQ8 accelerate to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds — 0.7 seconds faster than the diesel S versions. The top speed, as before, is electronically limited to 250 kilometers per hour.

The gasoline versions of these crossovers will reach European dealerships in the fall. Prices will start from 93,300 euros for the SQ7 and from 101,100 euros for the SQ8.
