Under the hood of the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series is a biturbo 4.0 V8 engine that produces 730 hp and 800 Nm. This power is 145 hp more than the engine of the former top modification GT R and 90 hp more than the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4-Door model.

During refinement, the engine received a flat-plane crankshaft, turbochargers with enlarged impellers, new camshafts, as well as a different exhaust and a dry sump lubrication system. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch robot.

The sports car reaches the first hundred on the speedometer in 3.2 seconds, and acceleration to 200 km/h takes less than 9 seconds. The top speed is 325 km/h.

The Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series is equipped with a suspension with coil-over struts and adaptive AMG Ride Control dampers, as well as adjustable anti-roll bars. In addition, the sports car boasts a special aerodynamic body kit with technologies used in the GT3 and GT4 racing series.
