The Toyota Corolla Cross is based on the TNGA-C platform, which is used for the Corolla sedan and the C-HR crossover. In length, the crossover stretches to 4460 mm, in width to 1825 mm, and in height to 1620 mm. The wheelbase occupies 2640 millimeters. The ground clearance is quite modest - only 161 mm. The rear suspension of the crossover is semi-independent with a torsion beam, and the drive is exclusively front-wheel drive.

Under the hood of the crossover is a 1.8-liter gasoline engine that produces 140 hp and 175 Nm. The engine is paired with a continuously variable transmission. A hybrid version with a 100-horsepower engine and an electric motor will also be available.

The Toyota Corolla Cross will go on sale in the Thai market at the end of summer. It is quite possible that the crossover will appear in other countries as well, but there is no official information yet.
