Externally, the restyled Hilux can be distinguished by an enlarged radiator grille, new bumpers, and modified LED optics. New shades have appeared in the body color range: red Emotional Red II, blue Dark Blue, and bronze "metallic" Oxide Bronze. Additionally, black 18-inch alloy wheels have been added.

For the first time, the pickup has received a special Invincible trim, which stands out with original decor, as well as improved equipment and interior finishing.
The interior boasts a new instrument panel and an 8-inch screen of the upgraded multimedia system. As an option, a 800-watt JBL Premium Sound System audio system is now available.

A new 2.8-liter diesel engine has been added to the engine lineup, producing 204 hp and 500 Nm of torque. Transmissions: six-speed manual or automatic. The average fuel consumption of this version of the pickup is 7.8 liters per 100 km.
Also among the technical improvements, it is worth noting new shock absorbers, leaf springs, and recalibrated steering. The idle speed has been reduced from 850 to 680. The rear-wheel-drive Hilux has received an electronic differential lock simulation. All-wheel-drive versions with automatic transmission can now tow up to 3500 kg, and the payload capacity has been increased to one ton.
