The new Ford Bronco is based on the T6 platform, which is also used in the Ranger pickup. It is known that under the hood of the SUV will appear a turbocharged 2.3 EcoBoost engine and a naturally aspirated 2.7-liter V6 from the Ford F-150. The engines will be paired with either a 7-speed manual transmission with a low-range gear or a 10-speed automatic.
The long-awaited premiere of the SUV had to be postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. To maintain interest in the model until the official show, Ford plans to publish short videos from test runs.
