The design of the restyled "six" GT was updated following the example of the 5 Series family. The hatchback features a modified radiator grille, bumpers, and optics. Seven new shades were added to the body color range, and the selection of wheel rims with a diameter of 18-20 inches was also expanded.
The updated interior features a slightly modified steering wheel, improved seats, and a modernized multimedia system. In addition, a digital instrument panel is now included in the base configuration.
All modifications of the 6 Series GT are now mild hybrids with a 48-volt starter generator, adding 11 hp during acceleration. Full hybrid versions of the hatchback are not yet available.
Production of the restyled BMW 6 Series GT starts in July, and the hatchbacks will appear in dealer showrooms in August.
