The restyled Picanto can be distinguished by its modified front bumper, different radiator grille, and headlights. The rear lights have been given more "three-dimensionality," and the rear bumper has chrome false trims imitating exhaust pipes. In addition, the hatchback has been given a new body color — yellow Honeybee (pictured).

In the interior of the updated Picanto, a 4.2-inch on-board computer screen has appeared on the instrument panel, as well as a new 8-inch multimedia system display. In addition, support for opening/closing doors and starting climate control via a mobile app, "over-the-air" navigation updates, and connections to smart home devices has been added.

The list of safety systems has been expanded with blind spot monitoring, lane keeping assist, forward collision avoidance, and driver fatigue monitoring functions.
