The new generation Highlander was presented last summer, but the model has only now reached Europe. The crossover is based on the modular TNGA platform. The length of the model is 4966 mm, width — 1930 mm, and height — 1755 mm. The wheelbase is 2850 mm.

The new Highlander has received different suspension settings, a lower center of gravity, and improved sound insulation. In addition, the crossover has a Dynamic Torque Vectoring AWD all-wheel drive system with a Multi-Terrain Select function that allows you to choose one of four driving modes.

Under the hood of the crossover is a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 249 hp and 356 Nm. An 8-speed automatic transmission is used as the transmission.

The new Highlander's equipment includes front collision warning systems, road sign recognition, automatic switching of high beam to low beam, and driver fatigue monitoring. The list of options also includes: adaptive cruise control, full LED optics, panoramic roof, media center with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, projection screen, and a premium JBL audio system with 11 speakers.
