The coupe-like crossover will be based on the modular MQB platform. Technically, the Nivus will be close to the Polo model. There are no specific figures yet, except for the trunk volume data - 415 liters.

It is not yet possible to look into the interior of the new product, but it is expected that the interior will be equipped with a digital instrument panel and a media center with a large touchscreen.

It is known that under the hood of the front-wheel-drive Nivus, a 130-horsepower 1.0 TSI turbo engine will be placed, working together with a six-speed automatic transmission.

The Volkswagen Nivus will initially appear on the Brazilian market. The official debut of the crossover should take place before the end of this spring. It is possible that next year the model may also reach Europe.
