On the European car market, "hot" crossovers are offered with a diesel turbo engine and a starter generator.

The SQ7 and SQ8 modifications on diesel show more modest dynamics than their gasoline counterparts. For example, versions for the North American market accelerate from standstill to 60 miles per hour (approximately 97 km/h) in 4.3 seconds. But European SQ7 and SQ8 need 4.8 seconds to reach 100 kilometers per hour. In both cases, the top speed is the same — 250 kilometers per hour, limited by electronics.
