In addition to the fashionable gray shade and exclusive ten-spoke alloy wheels, the limited edition Arteon R-Line Edition can be identified by the partial anti-chrome package, contrasting side mirrors, black roof, and spoiler. The standard equipment of the sporty sedan includes Nappa leather interior trim, navigation system, heated front and rear seats, as well as a set of advanced active safety assistants.

Liftbacks of the R-Line Edition series will be available to order only with the most powerful two-liter turbo engines and adaptive chassis. The gasoline unit produces 190 or 280 horsepower, the diesel one — 190 or 240 horsepower. All versions are combined with a 7-speed DSG "robot", front or all-wheel drive.
The limited run of the Arteon R-Line Edition is expensive: prices in Germany start from 56 thousand euros for the initial front-wheel-drive 190-horsepower liftback. This is almost 3,200 euros more expensive than the price of a more powerful all-wheel-drive 245-horsepower Audi A5 Sportback in the S-Line package.
