The standard equipment of the sporty sedan includes Nappa leather interior trim, navigation system, heated front and rear seats, as well as a set of advanced active safety assistants.
Liftbacks of the R-Line Edition series will be available to order only with the most powerful two-liter turbo engines and adaptive chassis. The gasoline unit produces 190 or 280 horsepower, the diesel one — 190 or 240 horsepower. All versions are combined with a 7-speed DSG "robot", front or all-wheel drive.
The limited run of the Arteon R-Line Edition is expensive: prices in Germany start from 56 thousand euros for the initial front-wheel-drive 190-horsepower liftback. This is almost 3,200 euros more expensive than the price of a more powerful all-wheel-drive 245-horsepower Audi A5 Sportback in the S-Line package.
