Judging by the images, the new Volkswagen Caddy will get a design in the style of the eighth-generation Golf hatchback, presented in the autumn of this year. In particular, the Caddy will have LED front optics of a similar shape, connected by a narrow chrome line. A distinctive feature of the rear of the body will be a rectangular window, partially edged with an LED light strip.

The new Volkswagen Caddy will be built on the modular MQB platform, which provides for the construction of vehicles with different wheelbase sizes.

According to preliminary data, the engine lineup of the next Volkswagen Caddy will include petrol engines with a displacement of 1.0 and 1.5 liters, with power from 90 to 150 horsepower. The diesel lineup will be represented by units developing 115 and 150 horsepower.
