The fresh teaser shows how the hot hatchback differs from the standard model. As expected, the car, which was worked on by the Gazoo Racing sports division, has acquired widened wheel arches, a different radiator grille, and a bold body kit reminiscent of rally cars.
It is logical to assume that under the hood of the "charged" Yaris there will be a more powerful engine than the current version with a 209-horsepower 1.8-liter unit. The appearance of all-wheel drive transmission is also not ruled out.
Recall that the debut of the GR Yaris was postponed: the premiere was planned for November 17 in Australia, but the event was canceled due to forest fires.
