The restyled minivan can be distinguished from its predecessor by its rear lights with new LED blocks, different wheels, modernized bumpers, as well as a modified front end on the top Initiale Paris version.

Inside, there is a modernized center console with a closing compartment with two cup holders and a pair of USB ports. The car now offers an improved Easy Connect multimedia system with a 9.3-inch vertical touchscreen, as well as a customizable digital instrument cluster.

The updated Renault Espace is available with a panoramic roof, Nappa leather upholstery, and seats with 10-way electric adjustment with massage and ventilation functions. In addition, the car can be equipped with a set of active electronic systems corresponding to Level 2 autonomous driving.

The engine lineup remains unchanged. It includes two turbo diesels with 160 and 200 hp, which work in conjunction with a six-speed robotic gearbox. Additionally, the minivan is available with a 1.8-liter petrol unit from Renault Sport, which is used in the Alpine A110 sports car.
