The large pickup can accommodate up to six people, and a quad bike can easily fit in the cargo area. The pickup also has another trunk located at the front. The new model features a futuristic design in the style of future cars from the movie universe of "Blade Runner." The car's body is made of ultra-high-strength steel. According to Elon Musk, this material is not afraid of sledgehammer blows or gunfire. Similar steel is used to create SpaceX space rockets. Tesla's CEO also promised that the pickup will be equipped with impact-resistant glass. However, during the presentation, the car's glass failed to withstand a hit from a steel ball.

The electric pickup features adaptive air suspension. The Cybertruck is 5885 mm long, 2027 mm wide, and 1905 mm high. The ground clearance is 40 centimeters. The pickup's payload capacity is 1587 kilograms. The approach angle is 35 degrees, and the departure angle is 28 degrees. The car's interior features a huge touchscreen display for controlling the main functions of the vehicle, and the steering wheel resembles an airplane yoke. Additionally, the pickup will be available with the proprietary Autopilot semi-autonomous driving system, as well as a surround-view camera system.

The base rear-wheel-drive versions are equipped with a single electric motor. Such a pickup accelerates to 100 km/h in about 6.5 seconds. The top speed is 177 km/h. On a single charge, the car can travel up to 400 kilometers. This version of the Cybertruck can tow a trailer weighing up to 3.4 tons. Customers will also be offered a modification with two electric motors and an all-wheel-drive system. This vehicle reaches 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and can tow up to 4500 kg of cargo.

The top version of the Cybertruck, called Tri Motor, is equipped with three electric motors. One motor is installed on the front axle and two on the rear. The car accelerates to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, making it one of the fastest pickups in the world. The Cybertruck's top speed is about 210 km/h. On a single charge, the Tesla pickup can travel more than 800 kilometers. The payload capacity is 6350 kilograms.
Tesla has already begun accepting pre-orders for the vehicle. Customers are expected to receive the first pickups in early 2021. Higher-end versions of the model should be expected in 2022.
