The new car is aimed at the Chinese market, but the manufacturer does not rule out its appearance in other markets in the future.

The length of the seven-seat version of the Chevrolet Blazer reaches 4999 mm, which is 137 mm longer than the standard crossover. The wheelbase remains unchanged at 2863 mm, and the extra space is provided by an extended rear body section. Assembly of the seven-seat crossover will be organized in China, where it will become the flagship model in the Chevrolet lineup.

The range of powertrains is expected to remain unchanged. In the Chinese market, the Chevrolet Blazer is equipped exclusively with a two-liter turbo engine producing 230 horsepower. Drive is only front-wheel.

For the North American market, the Chevrolet Blazer is offered with several engine options: a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated unit with 195 horsepower, a two-liter turbo four with 233 horsepower, and a 3.5-liter V6 developing 312 horsepower. In the US, the crossover is available with both front-wheel and all-wheel drive.
